Hungary plans 2012 budget gap at 2.5 pct of GDP

Hungary's economy minister says the 2012 budget plan sets a deficit target of 2.5 percent of gross domestic product, while raising the general value-added tax from 25 to 27 percent, the highest in the European Union.
